Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene, commonly known as: polyvinyl fluoride, F40, is the toughest material with a good balance of various mechanical properties—extremely strong tear resistance, high tensile strength, medium hardness, excellent impact resistance, and expansion long life. While maintaining the good heat resistance, chemical resistance and electrical insulation properties of PTFE, the radiation resistance and mechanical properties are greatly improved, and the tensile strength can reach 50MPa, which is close to twice that of PTFE. The more important thing is that its processing performance has been greatly improved, especially its outstanding adhesion to the metal surface, so that the tight lining process of fluoroplastics and steel shells is truly realized, that is, the production process of fluoroplastic F40 rotary lining, and ETFE rotary processing. The product has a good market prospect.
Main features:
1. Long-term use temperature -80-260℃, excellent chemical resistance, corrosion resistance to all chemicals, the lowest friction coefficient among plastics, and good electrical properties, and its electrical insulation is not affected by temperature .
2. Its chemical resistance is similar to polytetrafluoroethylene and better than vinylidene fluoride.
3. Its creep resistance and compressive strength are better than those of polytetrafluoroethylene, with high tensile strength and elongation of 100-300%. Good dielectric properties and excellent radiation resistance.
Industrial applications:
1. Wire and cable insulation, anti-corrosion equipment, sealing materials, pump valve bushings, and chemical containers.
2. It is suitable for making corrosion-resistant parts, wear-reducing and wear-resistant parts, seals, insulating parts and medical equipment parts.
